Speed Select Technology adds three levers: Performance Profile keeps all 32 cores active and trims the base to 1.8 GHz or 1.9 GHz within the same 185 W budget, Turbo Frequency can lift the turbo ceiling on chosen cores, and Base Frequency raises the all-core floor.
The platform: 8 channels of DDR5-4400 at 1 and 2 DPC alike (up to 4 TB per socket), PCIe 5.0 with 80 lanes, while the absence of UPI links keeps all memory and PCIe bandwidth dedicated to the single CPU. Its accelerator quota is slimmer — one DSA device ships pre-activated and Intel QAT is available as software acceleration — alongside DL Boost.
